The client, an industrial group with several production plants in Spain, was facing a scenario of increasing energy consumption and the need to adapt to a more sustainable model, without jeopardizing the continuity or competitiveness of its industrial activity.
Its main objectives included reducing dependence on the conventional electricity grid, optimizing energy costs, and moving towards a model aligned with the group's sustainability commitments.
To define a viable energy strategy that would allow the integration of renewable energies and efficiency measures in a complex industrial environment, characterized by high consumption, continuous production processes and different types of facilities.
The challenge was to design a realistic, scalable solution adapted to each plant, avoiding operational interruptions and ensuring the technical and economic viability of the project.
Enerpath approached the project from a holistic perspective, beginning with a detailed analysis of the energy consumption of the group's various industrial plants. This assessment made it possible to identify consumption patterns, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities.
Technical and economic feasibility studies were developed for different renewable energy integration scenarios, evaluating self-consumption solutions and possible measures.
Based on this, Enerpath defined a medium and long-term energy roadmap, aligned with the client's strategic objectives and prepared for progressive implementation.
